    Hello Everyone!

How well does everything run with a 1985 300 baud Commodore 64 setup, including a 40-character CRT monitor and all the bells and whistles, in a modern Synchronet BBS? Along the way, there were some unexpected obstacles - true to Murphy's Law.

I run NovaTerm on my C64, which is capable of a perfectly legible 80 column screen on a Commodore 1702 monitor. I have a bunch of ESP8266-based WiFiModems around here for use with my vintage machines, and the C-64's user port is good for 2400bps.

Didn't you just say you were leaving, because of the "Nazis"?

Why are you still here, posting?

    Thank you!

I'm only one part away from being able to do this myself. I don't
    have the GLink interface.

I'm tempted to get one now, and experience this myself. I have both a
colour CRT TV, and a monochrome amber monitor like yours. Won't able
to match your slick production values though.

    Nevertheless, thanks again.
