At the current levels the tariffs will reduce the deficit by 2.8 Trillion. Moreover, it looks like the economy grew by almost 5% in the last 1/4.
Trump said that there is no way a tax increase will reduce the deficit and debt... We'll have to grow ourselves out of it.
