  • A500 Accellerators

    Hey all .. I've been trying to find some cost effecting accellerator for the Amiga 500 .. I came across a couple of them but the price they want for one is astronomical .. I'm in Canada and our currency exchange rate is horrible ..

    Anyone have any suggestions? I know Apollo boards are some of the good ones but alas .. I price them out to over $1000 + shipping after the exchange

    I am NOT an Amiga guy - but I've heard rave reviews of the Vampire boards? But that might be a complete replacement???

    Dave,

    I have an Apollo Firebird for the a500 and its awesome. It's $787 CDN plus shipping so close to your $1000. It works really well and has great support channels on Discord. My buddy also bought one with me at the same time so it did save on shipping.
