MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Acorn Squash Soup

      Yield: 9 servings
 
      1 sm Onion
    1/4 c  Chopped celery
      2 tb Butter
      2 tb A-P flour
      1 ts Chicken bouillon granules
    1/2 ts Dill weed
    1/4 ts Curry powder
        ds Cayenne pepper
      2 c  Chicken broth
     12 oz Can evaporated milk
      3 c  Mashed, cooked, acorn
           - squash
           Salt & pepper
      5 sl Bacon; crisp cooked,
           - crumbled
 
  In a large saucepan, saute onion and celery in butter.
  Stir in flour, bouillon, dill, curry and cayenne until
  blended. Gradually add broth and milk. Bring to a boil;
  cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add the squash, salt and
  pepper; heat through.
  
  In a blender, process the soup in batches until smooth.
  Pour into bowls; sprinkle with bacon.
