From Ed Vance@1:2320/105 to Carol Shenkenberger on Wed Mar 20 20:30:12 2024

In the past two years that I've been off line there has been some newer methods of messaging that I have no idea about.

Telegram BBS is one I never heard of until recently.

As August said, retro is the way I want to operate.
I'm a old stick in the mud.

But glad to be back here.

Will be better here when I can use a REAL keyboard instead of tapping on this screen.

August, You're right saying "retro" I'm set in my ways .
As Mike mentioned, I am a user here, in the past I just
wrote a lot in many echos.

Maybe consider an external Bluetooth connected keyboard for
your phone as an alternative/standby until you get the pc
    connections sorted out?

At one time, I had an Android phone with a bluetooth keyboard and little
flip stand, loaded DOSBOX on it, and fired up Multimail, my QWK reader.

I was *mostly* able to read and write packets, but getting packets to it
was a pain and needed a laptop. It was a fun experiment, though.

That's exactly what he should try!

And.... Wouldn't it be possible to "cast" phone screen output to a smart tv in-order to get a larger viewing experience?
