Apparently Dan Bongino is going to step down from is position as Deputy FBI Director. I can't find any information about why though.

Trump said "I think he wants to get back to doing his show."

Something is weird about all of this. And what Trump said about it doesn't really make sense either because Dan can't simply get back to doing his show; it's the Vince Coglianese Show now, and Vince is doing an outstanding job.

I suspect that Dan's not happy about 1 or more decisions that the FBI has made about something or other, and he's so disappointed that he's resigning. He is kinda explosive, so maybe this is him going off the deep end.

I couldn't imagine moving from a perfect life in Florida and going to DC and listening to people like MTG and AOC.

My wife thinks that Bongino just wanted to solve the January 6 mystery but didn't want to get involved in anything else. If that's true, then it's a good explanation for his resignation.

But the arrest of the suspect is only the beginning; who's going to tie him to the Democrats? Who's going to bring down thebig guys who put him up to it?

Elise Stefanik is not running for NY Governor and or her Congressional seat either.

Apparently there is something else that Trump needs her for so she's taking one for the team.

She was too conservative to win the Governors seat. The Republican who is going to run against the current Governor is more moderate and has a chance to unseat Hochul.

Trump likes this guy, Elise just trying to negotiate these obstacles and do whats best for the party.

I think she has a point... that and the Epstein Files.... Epstein Files released and his resignation comes in.

Dan posted on X about the people who work for the FBI that investigate child sex crime, and whatnot. He mentioned that the people who work in that field are troubled... they work 12-14 hours a day and a plagued with overwhelming regret every night they go home from work. Knowing that there were kids they didn't/couldn't help or find that day... and that that there will be a new batch of kids needing help when they arrive at work the next day.

I want to take the family on a Washington D.C. vacation while Trump is president. There will never be a better time to go than now.

The guy is very likeable (Bruce Blakeman) but I just don't see him winning a race against the spiny-tailed iguana. He would need to work his ass off to do it. I'm hoping to see some younger faces in the NY GOP gubernatorial primary race.
