For the first time in history, a Democrat has co-sponsored a bill (2
actually) that aim to actually to do a good thing:
(1) The Transparent Representation Upholding Service and Trust, or TRUST, in Congress Act bans members of Congress, their spouses and dependent children from trading individual stocks.
Sounds good to me! What's the catch? Why are Democrats interested in it?
(2) H.J. Res. 12, proposes an amendment to the Constitution to limit the number of terms that a member of Congress may serve; a limit of three terms for House members and two terms for Senators, with no opportunity to return after reaching the limit.
That sounds good too! What gives here? Democrats feeling shame or something? No f'n way. There's got to be some kind of "...and gives illegal immigrants the right to stay in the USA" or "...and gives China the right to take your land." IOW it's just too good to be true.
