SyncTERM can do that if the BBS sends the appropriate commands. Should the ANSI terminal object dynamically twiddle the appropriate bit?

P_PETSCII and P_NATIVE translate CR/LF in slightly different ways (see putmsg.cpp). This should be resolved (and touches in the whole "binary vs. text mode" issue)
