On September 11 2001, 4 aircraft were hijacked and two were crashed into
the Twin Towers NY, one into the Pentagon DC and the last was crashed in
a field due to the actions of some unknown heros onboard.
May we all ways remember the people who died on this fateful day.
I personally was working as a Detective with the Fort Lauderdale Police Dept and was
watching morning programming inside my office when the news broke of the first hit.
Everyone thought it was an accident, but we realized the truth when we saw the second
plane strike the other tower.
We immediately cordoned off the department parking lot, assuming we may be under
attack as well.
I am sure that everyone has a memory of where they were and what they were doing at
the time of the attack. As a police officer I saw a lot of bad stuff, but nothing as bad as
what I saw that day.
America became very united after that. If only we still were.
