Collapsing the lab?

I'm tempted to simplify my homelab, as I'm doing less testing at home
these days.
I have a Synology NAS with 5 loud 2TB drives giving me 7GB of SHR-2
storage, a laptop running Proxmox hosting the BBS and a couple of other
VMs. My desktop is a 10th gen i7, 64 GB of RAM.
The NAS is primarily backup for my media in my desktop system and
hosting backups for Proxmox.
I'm tempted to take the 10GB external I use to backup Proxmox, put it
on my desktop, move the BBS to a VM on my desktop and consolidate down
to one box. The desktop is overkill for most of what I do, so I'd have sufficient resources to do that.
I just don't do much with Proxmox anymore, now that I have a lab at work
I can break. :)
