    Is there a religious echo on Fido?

    I'd enjoy discussing religious stuff with my BBS buddies. There has got to be at least a few other people who are as into it as I am (probably not Democrats! lol jk)

    There use to be, on this node of my BBS areas are auto added as mail comes in. On the Fidonet backbone there are 3 areas... Holysmoke, Holy_Bible and Holy_Bible_FCS.

    Back story... The Holy_Bible echo was an echo moderated in the 90's by a guy who believed that a baptism should be conducted in Jesus' name only... not the Trinity... He was a militant in his beliefs... Notice the last echo with the FCS addition... That stood for False Christian Scum .... HAHAHAHA... That's what he called you if you didn't believe in his Jesus-name-oly baptisms. He's boot you from the echo and then they'd go to the other echo (FCS) to have "Normal" conversations on Christian topic.

    If you want to revive one of these I'll add them on the BBS and I'll talk to Nick about you moderating it.

    It's wrong when people try to out-Christian other Christians. I couldn't do that even if I tried. I'm a Christian who doesn't even read the bible. I'll be the first to admit that I don't get it, don't plan to ever get it, but still I'm a Christian who appreciates all the good things that God does for me and for others.
