• production Os/2?

    hey all

    how many of you still maintain production OS/2 at work?

    it's 2024 and i still had to ressurect a system using IBM os/2 boot floppies and SCSI cdrom to rebuild an OS on a disk that died....

    it's a custom CNC from 1999 (swiss made) and was 'new' to my company in
    2018. os/2 warp 4... still going strong....

    recently talked to someone who was doing the exact same thing, but to fix a callcenter auto-dialer. there's tons of those machines out there still.

    People have been playing with ArcaOS... OS/2-2.0 HAHAHA... modern day version of OS/2.

    That's a fanstastic report, thx! I've heard tell of eComStation systems still in prod out there... nice to hear about a Warp 4 install still going strong.
