Yeah, it looks like you're not getting the AP files any more. I've not
received one from my hub since 5th, I think it was.

I couldn't find the older ones that I was missing, but I have managed
to re-create them so they look pretty much identical to the ones we get
from Alan Ianson. He told me he only keeps 30 days and a search with
    Google didn't help.

You're welcome to grab them from my BBS.

    Thanks,

They affected SEO and even the loading of the site in some browsers, unless opening a ticket with Police Technical Support outsourced overseas where one has to explain who or what is a Fidonet.

Don't blame you there. I was the victim of one of those "police" groups.
They scanned my BBS site and found programs that were compressed with
PKlite, etc. (by the original distributor) and/or that had some sort of
code encryption (to prevent hacking). So they blacklisted my site.

I blocked their IPA addresses and, unfortunately, "fixed" the file areas so that you have to be logged onto the BBS to see them.

I was given an web forum address to contact to fix the issue, but they only passed the buck on to someone else and added me to their newsletter email
    list. :(

Please remove this echo from any Synchronet forum-config or web-BBS
pages. I've discovered this echo easily by Google search on at least
    four boards.

It's not a Synchronet issue, it's a permissions issue. I have this echo
set to sysop only which I thought should be the case. If it's not open
to the public, it's not going to show up on the Synchronet webpage.

I hate people that do that. In Micronet, if I see someone doing that, I will ask them politely to stop. If they don't, I remove them from the network. Why should I bother being nice to you when you can't follow the rules? IMNSHO, it's these ancient "techno-dicks" that are Fidonet to collapse in on itself. It's why I put so much time and effort into Micronet: to prevent it from turning into Fidonet. A few have labeled me a "dictator". Damn right, I started my network to avoid pricks like them from ruining it like they did Fidonety. I could name names but we all know who I'm talking about.

Exactly what lead to my treasure-trove of Misc goodies being removed. I would of had to fight it out with them just to keep newcomers not getting browser warnings. Better to just take that stuff offline in the end.
