Ok, is a lot of Zone 1 down, or just R15? I haven't received messages since 5/14, and my Net coordinator is aware of this too. I saw a message on his personal zone that there was a wide outtage. Can anyone confirm this?

There was a notice posted to Z1C on May 14 saying that region 15 was merged into region 11:

    Subj: R15 merges to R11

    Everyone,

After a considerable amount of patience, emails, hand-holding, you name it, I decided to kill R15 and merge remaining nodes to R11.

Please update your Zone-1 Netmail routing, if necessary.

Not sure if your uplink needs to adjust something? Nick is RC11 and may have some insight on this.

It looks like you're listed in Region 17, Net 340 in the nodelist.

I can confirm that I nuked Region 15 entirely. So if your uplink was getting mail from RC15 for some reason he will need to make other arrangements, or you are more than welcome to peer/mesh with myself or others here.

Your FidoNet node number is in Region 17. Why would an outage in R15 stop your feed?

As has already been posted, R15 is gone, merged into R11.

I suggest you contact NC340 for your feed, as that is your assigned network. --- SBBSecho 3.20-Linux

I've contacted Rob Starr, who keeps saying "R15" instead of "R17", so I don't know what to think.

If Rob Starr was getting his feed from the former RC of region 15 (TJ Barlow), then it's possible the feed has been temporarily disconnected while TJ fixes his system. I'm not sure why he had to remove his uplinks, but seems like he may have done so.

If you need a new temporary (or permanent) link/feed, let me know and I can help you out.

Thanks Nick, I'll keep you in mind. Yeah he was using R15 as his hub. It's not quite up yet, I'm not sure where he'll be getting his feed from. I can only wait so long though. On the 21st, 2 messages came through most echos,
but I'm missing from the 15th and most of the 21st through today.

I've mailed TJ to get in touch with Rob and get things fixed up. It looks like I connected with TJ almost 100 times yesterday, so mail is definitely flowing to his system now. Whatever he did with his other links, though, I have no idea.

This was a simple nodelist clerk removal/replacement. No echomail/netmail feeds needed to be altered/cut off/redone, whatsoever. But for some reason they were, and I can't begin to answer why. Hopefully, they will have it fixed up shortly. I don't think TJ knew until I mailed him last night that his feeds were messed up, so it doesn't seem like Rob even attempted to contact him about it. :)

    Regards,
    Nick
