So, I got the PowKiddy. It comes with tons of ROMs, though some systems have a lot more ROMs than others. Dreamcast and N64 runs fine, though for some reason the graphics are very pixelated. Dreamcast seems to run like 1% better than N64, actually, because N64 had like a second of lag a very few times, but it doesn't really affect gameplay. The analog stick being on the bottom doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. It actually feels quite fine. All in all, I recommend it.

Interesting discovery from yesterday that has reinvigorated my MIST FPGA
    evice.

I usually played Amiga on it as there is a decent Aga core and it has DB9 port joystick emulation so I could be very close to the real hardware experience with gaming.

But it's been not so much more than 020 emulation with a bit faster cpu clock. Some system and hdd sofware worked decently but I'd call it a top performant amiga replacement.

Still it is not the case but there is a new core available that emulates RTG Picasso IV compatible card and adds hardware chunky to plannar (Akiko) that helps emulate cd32 better and some software for 1200 too.

It Works amazing I must say. If somebody is interested I can share urls to download all that stuff to your MIST device.

I've never heard of the PowKiddy, so I just looked it up. Which one did you get? I see the Q90, the X7 (which looks like a Nintendo Switch), etc.

I'll have to pull this back up. I built a 'minimig' rig a year or so back
and had some issues with slowness, but I won't complain as the project is beyond impressive. I was actually able to run a few demos from the old amiga mod scene.

Presently, I'm running the 'ao486' now which has, likewise, been recently improved (_greatly_ improved) with L2/L3 cache options, better sound
options, tcp modem and the like... I've been able to play MANY of my old
games, from Ultima to Duke3d with no issues.

I try to license anything I use - if I am able - and own quite a few on the exdos top 300. All that I have tested work (dare I say), flawlessly.
