I would like to do a little advertising for a forum here. Thematically it's about the
hobby BBS specifically and in general. Everything related to this hobby is or
should
be covered in this forum.

After a fault on my side I've got a complete Data loss and I have rebuild this
forum
last and this week.
My wish would be that it could be well received by you and that a lot of information
and experiences could be exchanged there. As with everything, it can only be a
success with your support. Each of us can contribute a knowledge to this topic.
Of course I am open to requests, changes or suggestions!

The enthusiasm on the various networks was limited. The other sysop's are relatively
skeptical about the matter. In my opinion, the reasons for this owe a little to
the
history of such forums. Apparently they have had bad experiences with it, or they
fear competition for their own networks. But that's not what I wanted to achieve!
But I will continue to run the forum in parallel and see what else I can put in
as
information into it. And then you just have to wait and see. (what happens) :-)
End of this this I plan to retire. I've got 40 1/2 years then! Enough is enough
and
many things changes very badly to my Police headquarters since 2019 the new president was in charge. Before this he was the vize-president. The president's
before were totally ok! I've got a lot of contacts to them! We are about 2.700
policemen in this headquarter.
Maybe you said this, too.. It isn't the same, as 20 years before. And mostly
things
changed to the bad!
So... from the 18th of april I till the 16th of december I'm either in the german air force
(I'm in the reserve), or taking the overtime or holidays, incl. savings vacation. Hope
I wrote this correct?
In the week 16th of december I do my administration for leaving and the 31th of
december is my last official day in this "association".
From 2025 onwards I will only join the Air Force occasionally. Makes more fun!

I did 21 years with the City of Fort Lauderdale and retired in 2002. I have now been
retired for a longer time than I worked.
