I decided to pull out one of my old Laptops to see what I could accomplish with a fairly
old computer. After installing Google Chrome OS, I installed Chrome Remote Desktop to
connect to my main Windows 11 desktop machine.

What a joy to see that I have full access to all of my windows programs! The main one
that I use is a program to design web sites. I have never found anything on Linux or
    Chrome OS that compares.

My hope is that when I am travelling, I will still have access to my home computer
remotely via this laptop. I assume that I will.

I just ordered a refurbished windows 11 laptop from Amazon that I would use as my
primary. Maybe I won't need it?

I am using Remina on a linux box to access the desktops of other local computers that have RDP enabled. To my knowledge, if I had a windows
system, I would be able to access it with Remina so long as it also had RDP enabled.

Only if you have the ports that allow remote desktop access on the home computer in question exposed to the internet. I don't so I cannot access
it from anywhere outside my home.
