Thanks for that. From wikitree.com: One of his most notable accomplishments came in
the Indianapolis 500, where he won twice, first in 1990 and then again in 1997. His
victory in the 1990 Indianapolis 500 was particularly memorable, as he set the record
for the fastest average speed in the history of the race, a record that still stands today.
I would certainly be rooting for him if he was still racing. Currently, he is a a team
owner and occasional commentator. And he is a distant cousin of mine. I wouldn't have
known this if it wasn't for me tracing my roots.
That's why genealogy is one of my favorite hobbies.
