    Isaac Jogues, S.J. was a French missionary and martyr who traveled and worked among
    the Iroquois, Huron, and other Native populations in North America. He was the first
    European to name Lake George, calling it Lac du Saint Sacrament

    60 degrees from Maksymilian Kolbe
    The German Nazis brought Maximilian Kolbe to the concentration camp of Auschwitz. He
    arrived at the 29th May 1941 in the camp and he was registered as prisoner number
    16670, and on the 10th of October 1982 the Polish pope, John Paul II, canonized him as
    Saint Maximilian Kolbe.

    St. Th˙r˙se of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face. Discalced Carmelite nun. Canonized
    May 17, 1925 by Pope Pius XI. On October 19, 1997, declared a Doctor of the Church,
    by Pope John Paul II. One of only four females with that title.

    26 degrees from Mary MacKillop
    Mary Helen MacKillop RSJ also known as St Mary of the Cross MacKillop, is the only
    Australian to be recognized by the Catholic Church as a saint.[1] Mary and the Reverend
    Julian Tenison Woods founded the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart, a congregation of religious sisters who established a number of schools and welfare
    institutions throughout Australia. On 17 July 2008 Pope Benedict XVI prayed at her
    tomb. Pope Benedict XVI approved the Catholic Church's recognition of a second miracle
    attributed to her intercession 19 December 2009. St. Mary MacKillop was canonized on
    17 October 2010 during a public ceremony in St Peter's Square at the Vatican.
