    Wasen't sure if Homesteading or Camping was the ticket for this.

    I have always been interested in survivalism. I'm sure most smart people think about it from time to time. I'm much older now then what I once was :-) but over my life time have accumulated a lot of equipment I might require should I suddenly have to 'disappear'. One of my interests (hobbies I suppose). Being a broke musician isn't easy. <grin>

    I'll pass this on to my daughter. Her husband fits the bill.

    I didn't request to join so I don't know much about the topics they discuss. Living in
    Florida with the constant threat of storms, the most prepared I can get is to have a
    whole house generator installed. I can't do solar panels. I DO own a motorhome, so I
    can always avoid the storms by taking "my home" with me. I will always have the use
    of the generator and the gas stove that are a part of the RV.
