I recently rediscovered my iPod with my favorites collections of Doo-Wop and classic rock songs. It's comforting and entertaining to be able to listen to a customized playlist of songs. It makes the work go by effortlessly.
Have you ever heard "The Alley Cats"?? They're an a cappella quartet that specializes in the music types you specify. I saw them when I was out in California in 2001 for the 50th National Square Dance Convention.
Their website is at https://www.thealleycats.com
Overall, I've gotten to really enjoy a cappella music...although when I was in choir, the director sometimes referred to such as "aka shakey" or "Acapulco"...although the latter may have been for Mexican Music. <G>
I really like the Barbershop Quartets...there's a group out of Tennessee called "Lunch Break". They did one deal at Carnegie Hall just after Christmas
several years, telling of "Old MacDonald's Deformed Farm"...it is a scream!!

Some of the critters (in a combination of their skits) include:
1) A bunion infested centipede
2) A dyslexic cat
3) A lisping snake
4) A kleptomaniac seagull
5) A lactose intolerant cow
6) A hyperactive sloth
7) A narcoleptic pig
8) A terrified squirrel
9) An attention deficit disorder dog

Mike,
I'll check it out. Thanks.
Be sure your bladder is empty before viewing it. <G>
BTW, I running 3 systems now. This one using Wildcat, the 2nd running Synchronet, and the 3rd running Mystic. BBS'ing is definitely my new full-time hobby!
The tagline below seems appropriate for you. <G>
Daryl
... "Do you, Sysop, take this BBS, to be your wedded spouse?"
Mike,
... "Do you, Sysop, take this BBS, to be your wedded spouse?"
I do! But don't let my wife know. Merry Christmas!
Well, it's in the bedroom, but I'm the one getting screwed by twits. <G>
When I wrote a letter to Santa this year, I started it with "Define Naughty". <G> Then, when I said "I had been good", I was notified by the North Pole Medical Center, that his Christmas Eve run was in jeopardy,
as my letter had sent him into atrial flutter. <G>
It may be Christmas here, but temperatures will be more like May, with highs in the 70s, and parts of the region may hit 80 degrees!!

I hope you're not dreaming of a White Christmas :) It sounds like it
may be hotter there than in Florida. Right now it's 61 degrees in the Tampa area, going down to 52 overnight with a high of 79 tomorrow.
Enjoy it while you can. And, every day from now on is going to give us more daylight. Maybe you will get into the 90's soon.
