Aside from the horrible air quality from the California fires. Great! Having way too much fun working on my BBS.. learned a lot about FTNetworks and
running doors on Mystic BBS. When I'm feeling extra goofy I work on some textfiles, a cyberpunk cookbook and 'how to customize Mystic BBS quickly'.

Having joined tqwNet, fsxNet and doveNet is nice when I wanna chit-chat with other people. Next I'll apply for fidoNet.

Keeping my sanity is having more than one hobby. Building models, estes rockets, the occaisional comic book, WH40k and this great tabletop game called Core Space are excellent for keeping my mind off meatspace and the
overwhelmed surface 'net.

I have never figured out why they stopped cleaning the fire lanes and cleaning
up the tinder wood.

Me the same as you I think I love the building of the bbs more then anything.
I'd have to say Mystic or sbbs is the two best for installing and running doors, as for themes and or screens Mystic hands down.

You can connect either via QWK or FTN to WeedNet.
Application forms are in the infopack, which eg. can be found in my BBS: box.imzadi.de.
The infopack is also available via the Web interface in the Files>WeedNet section.

This page lacks the FTN information - I have to mail that information to
