So apparently I've been living under a rock because I just realized that there's an optional MRC module for Synchronet. Went ahead and installed
it here yesterday, kicked the tires a bit, and it seems to work great.
Room on the train for one more?

So where did you pick up this module for MRC chat I wouldn't mind looking it over myself if you want to share the information and your thoughts.

It's in the Synchronet repository on Gitlab. You'll find it here:
https://gitlab.synchro.net/main/sbbs/-/tree/master/xtrn/mrc
I've had it installed for a little over a year. Works pretty well, can't really complain.
