I lied, I got netmail from Michiel van der something about my IPv6 no longer working and could he remove my node as an IPv6 node, I changed ISP and I can
no longer use IPv6 natively so I said yeah.

Other than that, I haven't had any netmails... that was on Aug 5th.

Sounds like it might be.

I see you netmail me at the hub - but you should have got a bounce message back
saying something like "Hub unattended"...

IIRC, I also set up "ping", so you can send a ping@ to my hub or my bbs and you
should get a reply back pretty quickly...

Yup, tried the ping at both the AU hub and your bbs, and got a pong from the bbs and a ping reply from the hub.

Looks like netmail is working ok for me... I did just log into both UK and CA hubs and found a few netmails to me from various people in here... so I will
go reply now to them =)


I should try and make the hubs automagically respond to netmails that aren't areafix/filefix netmails. Is that easy to do?

Perhaps I had a typo in there - I'll resend it...

If you were running hpt (as I am), it is easy, I could give you my scripting... But with Mystic, sorry, not sure if it is possible...

ping at the hub I've using a perl filter capability that is available with HPT to respond to ping events.

For Synchronet, I did nothin' - discovered sbbsecho does that by itself. (Although I sent your BBS a ping and havent got a reply yet... hmm....)

I haven't had the best of luck with routed netmail. The ping I sent you was about the first I got back besides some AREAFIX messages to my hub.
