• Proxmox GPU pass through

From Granville Errol Casey, Jr@1337:3/194 to All on Sat Sep 21 23:18:13 2024
I have been reading about and watching YT videos about configuring GPU pass through.

I have an Intel NUC so it has an Intel integrated graphics card. But I've not been able to get pass through to work.

I've been working on it for lxc containers; i have the lxc config in place; but I'm wondering do I have to have changes to grub in the host (proxmox server) also in place ?

It seems the information for grub config and vm/lxc config appear seperate, but wonder if I need to do both to get things to work properly.

First hit for "LXC gpu passthrough intel" at your trusty SearXNG instance looks useful enough to me:

I don't think there is any need to modify your host's boot configuration at all away from default.

Thanks. I'll continue to work on my system. Feel a little embarrased that such a good example, was 1st hit on SearXNG. Guess maybe I should stop using google LOL.

Still don't have it working, but I'll keep at it.

I think your about about the host is true, as I have learned more tools to check for and see GPU status; and the proxmox host has no issue seeing or accessing it.

I have to figure out how to do that with vivaldi, my daily browser .

Still haven't figured out why work has .pw blocked LOL
