I've also made a Wifi hacker/jammer. It simply exploits basic vulnerabilities in wifi access points; I can jam the wifi signal, I can create tons of duplicate wifi access points to confuse BASIC hardware, etc.
Build one of those key logger plugs that sits between the keyboard and thecomputer.
What I'm currently doing is finding fairly decent, naughty, projects... loading them... learning them... and digging into the code to try and learn what they're doing/help with the open source project.
Have you played with Kali linux at all? Seems like it could be up your alley. bobbobbobbobbobbobbobbobbobbobbobbob
discuss and talk about these types of projects?
You can really do a LOT with these - you can CREATE hardware, software, and THINGS---> And I want to.
I'm using some ESP8266 "D1 mini" modules, mostly for retrocomputing :)
I've built one that acts as a WiFi modem, it uses the "esp_modem"
firmware that I've changed slightly to fit my needs. It emulates a
modem (so it understands AT commands) and is connected to one of my RC2014 Z80 computers running CP/M and a terminal program.
Another nice option is the "ESPterm" firmware, it acts as a terminal: It
features a webserver that you can connect to via a webbrowser. On this webpage, you then see a "terminal window" that is talking via the serial
port of the ESP8266 to the attached machine, eg. a Z80 CP/M computer :)
