A NASA spacecraft just spotted Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS behind the sun, intact despite predictions that it should fall apart

INCOMING 'DAYLIGHT COMET' IS STILL ALIVE: Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS, which could become visible in daylight this October, just passed behind the sun. NASA's STEREO-A spacecraft spotted it, apparently intact despite recent predictions that it should fall apart. The comet will almost certainly be visible to amateur telescopes when it emerges from the sun's glare in mid-Sept.
