Are there any MBSE boards you'd suggest? I was hoping to see the software; or learn of its irrelevancy in 2020 at the least.. Whats MBSE in 2o2o?

    Hey Paulie,

I haven't really seen many MBSE bbses but I think one that I do know is WintermuteBBS which you can telnet to via wintermute.spdns.eu on port 23 (standard).

Don't know if you've seen the website The Telnet BBS Guide, you can get to it at https://www.telnetbbsguide.com - has a whole bunch of bbses listed which
you can search for by either name or software or connection type etc.

Hope you find the information you're seeking =)

I used to run MBSE, but put it to bed when I took on Synchronet.

Its a good BBS package - has a couple of things that it could do better, but otherwise awesome as a hub, or as a BBS.

My fido uplink uses it. I few in Micronet do as well.

I'll just checkout wintermute - I know the guide, heck I have one of their Syncterm lists with ALL the bbses; but prefer my small selected boards that I can be a part of.

I just never experienced or seen an MBSE install. I'll check one out, thx.
