    Howdy,

    MBSE BBS might evoke memories of dial-up connections and early internet days, but it's more than just a nostalgic trip. As a robust and versatile bulletin board system, MBSE BBS still holds relevance today, especially in niche communities.

    When I got back into BBSing, MBSE was the first thing I installed and got going.

    I switched away from it, because of issues of it handling long filenames, and zapping received files that were sent with them. I also didnt like that you couldnt get into the config if the user was online - and with spambots hitting your telnet port, it was frequent enough to be annoying...

    That said, it does the role of a hub pretty good...
