  • Issues with add-ons that won't compile.

    So, I'm trying to use DreamMaster's Russian Roulette mod... and a Mystic Profiler one, too...

    I get the same response with Russian Rouelette and g00r00's g-rumors. mplc returns 'Directory "" does not exist' ...

    With the profiles, I think the issue is bigger/ I think the mystprof.mps is written for an older versoin of Mystic - anyway it returns 'ERRORS: Error in mystprof.mps (Line 10, Col 8): Expected module type' ....
    So I think the module names changed, which I could look up but... do you
    think it would be an easy fix?

    Furthermore, on the first ones... Directoy "" does not exist, anyone have any knowledge about that code?

    Ok, so I just figured out the issue on two of them. (Thanks to Adept at
    fsxNet to try this...) Just for anyone else with the same issue, it seems
    like on a Linux install of Mystic, the "-" in the filename is the culprit.
    So:
    ./mplc dm-rr.mps
    shows the 'Directory "" does not exist'

    however, if you take the "-" out and run
    ./mplc dmrr.mps

    it works perfectly. I need to send g00r00 an email/ticket; I know he uses
    OSX, and I also know that Windows systems can compile the dm-rr.mps file just fine, so I bet its something to do with the Linux OS and directory things...

    I am still hunting for help on Mystic Profiler - which is written for an earlier version of Mystic; and I want to use it... Any idea of how to rewrite it for use on 1.12 a45? I want to learn MPL anyway, so I don't mind hunting down module changes, if thats all it is...
