I'm playing around with the Pwnagotchi project. Inspired by the Tomagotchi craze of the 1990s that I just missed as a pre-teen, these little devices
have a 'character'... the Pwnagotchi is a wifi deauthenticator at heart, but when you dig in, the whole project really just teaches you to learn about networking...
Which I think lends itself well to BBSing and networking as a whole.
Checkout the project:
https://pwnagothci.ai
It has an AI, that learns as you sniff out more and more wifi hotspots... you CAN 'hack' passwords, if of course you own the network or have permissions... but futhermore the different add-ons that are available, or that you can code can do much more.
I've been having fun with it. Needed is a Raspberry Pi. Period... but best is
a Raspberry Pi Zero WH, an eInk display - I'm using the suggested
waveshare-v2 and an external battery....
Is anyone interested?
